In The Bustle Booth With Annie Parisse

When celebrities come into Bustle HQ in New York, whether it's for a photoshoot, videoshoot, or a Facebook Live, we want to give them the chance to leave their mark. Literally. So we hand them a pen, a piece of paper, a few questions, and ask them to get creative. The rest is up to them. This time, actor Annie Parisse is leaving her mark in the Bustle Booth.

You may know Parisse from romantic comedies like How To Lose A Guy In 20 Days, Monster-In-Law, and Definitely Maybe, or from two seasons as Alexandra Borgia on Law and Order. But she came to Bustle HQ to talk about her role on the new Netflix series Friends From College. Parisse plays Sam, a woman involved in an extramarital affair that doesn't moralize or demonize any party. Not only is Friends From College refreshing in that way, but less condemnation also means more jokes.

The series also stars Cobie Smulders, Keegan-Michael Key, Fred Savage, Jae Suh Park, and Nat Faxon as the rest of Sam's dysfunctional group of Harvard alum friends whose individual issues are exacerbated whenever they get together. Parisse's character may seem like the most put-together on the outside, but she's every bit as complicated as the rest of them.

Between chatting about shooting the show in the aftermath of the 2016 election, subway breakdowns, The Emoji Movie, and recent plays, the New York actor filled out our personality survey. I definitely want to know more about that Wikipedia search, so read on for Annie Parisse's answers:
