When celebrities hang out with Bustle editors, we want to give them the chance to leave their mark. Literally. So we hand them a pen, a piece of paper, a few questions, and ask them to get creative. The rest is up to them. This time, Deborah Lippmann is leaving her mark in the Bustle Booth.

You've probably seen her name embossed on bottles of nail polishes at your local nail salon or maybe you've Pinned nail looks she's created from Fashion Week. But there's a lot you might not know about Deborah Lippmann, nail polish queen and beauty entrepreneur. During our brief conversation, Lippmann reveals that she names all of her polishes after song titles as an homage to her background as a classically trained singer. Lippmann also shares that Cher was the one who came up with the shape of her nail polish bottle — they were hanging out on the music legend's bed when she suggested it — and Sarah Jessica Parker was the one who put her polish brand on the map during an episode of Sex and The City.

While all of these tidbits are equally impressive and fascinating, perhaps the most important thing you should know about Lippmann is that she is full of energy and excitement (especially when discussing new polish colors she's created) and that she has a heart of gold — somewhere between "Can't Be Tamed" and "Fake It Til You Make It".
