Although Kim Kardashian just welcomed her third child with Kanye West less than two weeks ago, rumors are already swirling that she's looking to add another baby to her family of five. With publications joining the gossip train with anonymous sources claiming Kardashian wants another surrogate baby, the reality TV star decided to set the record straight. Kardashian went on Twitter late Wednesday night to declare the baby whispers "fake news." Her response included a retweet of an article by UK tabloid The Daily Mail that reads, "Kim Kardashian 'has already asked her gestational carrier if she wants to carry another baby.'"

North and Saint West got a baby sister after Kardashian's surrogate gave birth to Chicago West. Kardashian revealed the atypical name shortly afterward on her website. Chicago, nicknamed Chi (and pronounced like "shy" not "chai"), is named after the Windy City, which is where Yeezy grew up and lived until his twenties. The former South Side resident wrote his 2007 song "Homecoming" as a love letter to Chicago, his hometown.

News of baby Chicago's arrival barely had time to cool down before rumors of an additional baby sprung up. An anonymous source reportedly told People, “Even before Chicago was born, Kim was talking about asking the surrogate to carry her next baby." Kardashian "definitely" wants more kids and "wants the family to get even bigger," the source reportedly said.

An anonymous source, possibly the same insider, also reportedly told Us Weekly that Kardashian and West, "asked the surrogate if she’d be willing to have another child for them if they decided to do it." Enough other publications picked up the same story that Kardashian had to shut it down via Twitter.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been open to the public about her experiences with pregnancy, motherhood, and surrogacy. The 37-year-old mother revealed that during her first pregnancy with North West, Kardashian had a serious condition called preeclampsia. The condition affects 5 to 8 percent of pregnancies and can cause discomfort ranging from mild to severe. Kardashian said on her website that early-onset preeclampsia forced her to induce labor almost six weeks early.

Her delivery was further complicated when the placenta stayed attached inside her uterus instead of coming out. The condition, placenta accreta, occurs when the placenta grows too deeply into the wall of the uterus and cannot detach. Kardashian described the experience of her doctor scraping her placenta out from her uterus with his fingernails as the most painful experience of her life, harder than her delivery. She had to have three surgeries to repair her uterus and remove the remaining placenta.

The dangerous complications and dislike for pregnancy didn't stop her and West from trying for baby number two, however. Kardashian opened up about her fertility struggles as she and West tried to conceive their second child. She became successfully pregnant after in vitro fertilization and although she didn't have the same complications as with North, Kardashian did have to undergo a procedure to manually turn baby Saint West to the correct head-down position.

For their third child, Kardashian opted for a gestational carrier. “Since we implanted my fertilized egg in our gestational carrier, our baby is biologically mine and Kanye’s," she told Vogue. “Having a gestational carrier is definitely different, but anyone who says or thinks it’s the easy way out is completely wrong,” she further explained. “People assume it’s better because you don’t have to deal with the physical changes, pain, or complications with delivery, but for me, it was so hard to not carry my own child, especially after I carried North and Saint.”

No baby pictures of Chicago yet, but mom and dad seem to be doing well. The couple reportedly had their first kid-free date night last weekend after welcoming their newest baby girl.
