Smashbox x Casey Holmes Palette Is A Fan Favorite

by Kali Borovic

Even since before the palette was announced, fans were excited about the Smashbox x Casey Holmes collab. It turns out that her subscribers weren’t exaggerating when they said they needed the palette in their lives, either According to the YouTuber's Instagram post, the Spotlight Palette sold out online before it was even open for the public. Can you still buy the Smashbox x Casey Holmes collab, you ask? Yes, but the options just got a bit more limited.

In case you're a little late to the beauty game, YouTuber Casey Holmes created two Spotlight Palettes with Smashbox. Each product features a trio of brand new highlighters. This wasn't your typical launch though. Before Smashbox opened up to products to the public, they had a subscribers-only sale. The only way to get the Spotlight Palettes were to go through the link on Holmes' social media page. Both of the trios — Pearl and Golden — both sold out on the Smahsbox website that day.

If you're wondering if you can still buy the highlighters, I have some good and bad news. The bad news is that you're going to have to wait a while for the online restock. As of Feb. 22, there is no exact date to mark on your calendar. You will be able to shop them in stores though. According to Smashbox's Instagram post, the Spotlight Palette isn't limited edition either, so you'll have plenty of time to shop in the future.

According to a previous Instagram post by Holmes, the Spotlight Palettes will be sold in Sephora, Ulta, and Macy's. She didn't say exactly when they'll go on sale, but she did say that it would be sometime soon. If these palettes sell as fast in-stores as they sold online, you'll want to be lining up at the door as soon as the date is announced.

I'd make sure to follow her on social media to get all the latest updates. Especially since that's how she shared all the information on the launch. There's a good chance that's where the in-store launch date will be, as well as any other info on future products she creates.

For her first ever collab, I'd say that Holmes had a successful one. If I had to guess, I'd say that this won't be the last one in her future.
