The Kylie x Quay Collab Isn't Permanent... Yet!

By now, fashion fiends and Kylie Jenner obsessives are well aware that Kylie Jenner x Quay sunglasses are coming. The teen partnered with affordable and trendy sunglasses brand Quay, which is pronounced like "key," for a capsule collection. The Aussie brand wisely tapped Jenner to co-create four pairs of shades — there are 11 total, thanks to the color variations. The collection, which arrives on Jul. 11, features a shield silhouette, aviators, cat eyes, and geometrics. They are extra in the right way.

Based on the images that have been revealed so far, the collection is thoroughly Kylie. The shades fall in the $75 price range. Yes, Kylie x Quay is bound to sell out. Because that's usually the case with Kylie Jenner-branded stuff, from bomber jackets to matte Lip Kits.

She has a #ByeMoney midas touch.

Is the Kylie x Quay sunnies collab limited edition? Or will these shades be permanent additions to the brand's offerings, which number in the many and are super trendy and cute?

Well, right now, Kylie x Quay shades are limited edition, as first reported by Women's Wear Daily. It is likely that there will be restocks. Or Kylie x Quay could be a one-and-done drop. We don't know how the brand will address the expected sell out. Bustle reached out to Quay PR for further details about the status of the Kylie frames.

In case you haven't seen all the silhouettes, go ahead and have a look. This pair feels deliciously retro to me.

I dig this aviator pair that Jenner rocked with a bathing suit and a Kris Jenner-like pixie. Like mother, like daughter.

You get to see different colors for different silhouettes in this video, along with a very clear "LIMITED EDITION" description at the end.

There it is — a screen grab of the details in millennial pink and white. Limited edition... for now.

The cat eye frames slay.

Jenner is flying high with these aviators.

Geometry must have been her fave subject, thanks to those frames.

If the collection is a massive success, the brand could very well upgrade a pair or two or all of them to permanent status. Or Quay could bring 'em back for an encore around the holidays. Or the Kylie frames could exist in a moment in time. It all remains to be seen.
