Sunday's season finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians saw Khloé considering being Kim's surrogate, only to receive some pretty surprising news about her fertility shortly thereafter. The episode opens with Kim and Khloé both playfully discussing the latter sister acting as a surrogate for Kim's third child. The conversation appears to be all in good fun, with Khloé jokingly inquiring about how much money her older sister would pay her to carry her baby. But a few scenes that come up later in the episode prove that the question is something Kim has been giving some serious thought to, prompting Khloé to actually take it into consideration. The two end up taking a trip to the doctor's office to determine if Khloé can have children, and the visit ends in the 32-year-old receiving some shocking news about her fertility after getting an ultrasound.

According to what Dr. Andy Huang says during their initial visit, Khloé doesn't have as many follicles in her ovaries as he would like to see in a woman her age. Naturally, Khloé is pretty taken aback by this information, as this isn't something any woman hoping to have children would want to hear. She spends the next chunk of the episode in a state of uncertainty about whether she'll be able to have children in the future. But after getting off of her birth control, a second trip to the doctor ends in Dr. Huang curbing her anxieties and letting her know that she does in fact have enough follicles (17, to be exact) to conceive a baby. And that leaves her with a decision to make.

“Now I have so many other things to think about," she says in her sit-down interview. "Do I wanna have my own baby now? I don’t know. I’m at a crossroads.”

This news is so exciting to hear, considering how open Khloé has been about her struggles with fertility in the past. The 32-year-old was undergoing fertility treatments during her marriage to Lamar Odom before they split in 2013. Khloé's boyfriend, basketball player Tristan Thompson, revealed earlier in the finale that he wants to have four or five children with her, so this might mean that the couple could be making babies together sometime soon. Only time will tell.
