The rumors were true! On Sunday, Kylie Jenner posted a statement to social media announcing the birth of her daughter and a video documenting the last nine months. The Kardashian-Jenner family offered their support throughout the video, and in a new statement Kim Kardashian congratulated Kylie Jenner again and showed how excited everyone is. Kardashian wrote the message in a blog post titled "Congratulations Kylie!" on her website, along with the documentary-style video that Jenner initially shared. The sub-heading reads: "You're going to be the best mom!", which she reiterates in the post.

The message is just a brief paragraph, and Kardashian opens by telling Jenner how proud and excited she is for her. "I'm so incredibly proud of the woman you have grown up to be and I know that you are going to be the best mom to your new baby girl!" Kardashian wrote.

She also noted how her individuality is one thing what will make her a great mother and that her child could inherit her same free spirit. "I am so proud that you do what you want to do and live your life the way you want, you will pass down all of those amazing qualities to your baby girl," she continued.

The biggest takeaway from Kardashian's blog were the words of encouragement, but she also talked about how their children will get to be friends. Here's Kardashian's full statement:

Mommy Kylie!!! You did it!!! I'm so incredibly proud of the woman you have grown up to be and I know that you are going to be the best mom to your new baby girl! Our girls are two weeks apart and I can’t wait for them to be besties! I am so proud that you do what you want to do and live your life the way you want, you will pass down all of those amazing qualities to your baby girl. You were made to be a mom! I love you!

In January, Kardashian welcomed her third child with Kanye West. Not long after, the couple announced that their new daughter's name would be Chicago West, and the baby makes her first public appearance in Jenner's video.

In the "To Our Daughter" video, Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods, also admired how much her friend had grown up. "When you're 20 years old, you're just figuring out your life," Woods said. "You don't know what you want, you're an indecisive teenager and you're just becoming a young adult, and there was one thing that your mom knew for sure, and that was you."

Jenner received more positive messages from her family after she announced the news, and Kim wasn't the first Kardashian sister to congratulate Jenner. Several of her other sisters also offered supportive words on Twitter. After Jenner posted the news, Khloé Kardashian retweeted it and wrote: "Cute mommy". Khloé will also soon join the ranks of the Kardashian-Jenner mothers; she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson in March or April.

Kendall Jenner also reposted her sister's statement on Twitter and included several heart emojis.

Kris Jenner shared lots of love for her new granddaughter on social media, writing: "God is SO good!! I am so excited and thrilled to welcome another precious baby girl to our beautiful, ever growing family. We are blessed beyond belief!"

Jenner's mom gave her blessing in the video, too, and can be seen talking about how excited she is for the future. "You have the best mom, and you are so lucky. This is such a blessing. It’s going to be the most amazing journey," she said, speaking to the baby directly. "I can’t wait to see you, meet you, kiss you, love you, teach you things that maybe only I can teach you, and your mom can teach you the things she can teach you."

When Jenner decided not to share the news of her pregnancy while she was pregnant, her family and friends helped keep the experience private. Now that she's a mother, it's clear that the Kardashian-Jenner family is continuing to show their support. Kardashian's message for Jenner shows just how much she loves her sister, and that their daughters could be destined to be best friends.
