It was a long, cold, lonely experience, living life without Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick as a couple. Watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians just wasn't the same. Watching Disick skulk around, missing Kardashian. Watching Kardashian eat salads without Disick mocking her for eating salads. It just wasn't right. But it's a new year. A new era. And this time, everything between this perfect couple is just as it should be. Over the weekend, Kardashian and Disick shared adorable photos from their ski trip, and it's pretty obvious that, judging by these photos, their reunion was totally worth the wait.

In the beginning of December, early reports started rolling in claiming that Kardashian and Disick got back together after more than a year apart, and it looks like that time spent going their separate ways really did them some good. Now, they look happy together again, and there is even photographic evidence to prove it. Posed photos, selfies, even a Boomerang — their trip (which seemed to include the whole family) covered all of the bases, and they are all really, really cute.

Exhibit A: Kardashian and Disick dancing around on the wing of a plane, as you do when you're absolutely loaded and in love:

And that's just one of the Instagram posts that surfaced this weekend. Being that these kinds of photos used to be a regular occurrence on their social media, I didn't realize how much I missed them until they weren't there anymore. It was heartbreaking to see Disick hurting on KUWTK while he talked about wishing he could live with Kardashian and their kids again, but at the time, it seemed like a split was definitely the best thing for them.

But now, it seems that's changed, and I'm so glad, because it means we get photos like this:

They're so perfect together! And even though they've reportedly been back together for weeks now, this is the first time they've felt comfortable enough to really put the evidence out there. There's always that chance they're just co-parenting and being friendly with each other, but they look pretty couple-y to me, and that's exactly what these posts seem to say. They must be feeling pretty solid as a couple, right? After all they've been through, it seems unlikely they'd share their relationship publicly if they didn't think it was going to last, especially since their kids are involved.

'Now, all we have to do is keep our fingers crossed that there isn't another breakup in their future. Could 2017 be the year these two finally tie the knot? It may never happen, especially since it wasn't ever anything they seemed to talk about much when they were together before, but I will never give up the dream of Penelope walking down the aisle in a really expensive flower girl dress.
