Mar. 8 is International Women's Day, and it's also the official day of the Women's Strike, aka, A Day Without A Woman. All around the United States — and across the globe in over a dozen other countries — women will be leaving their desks and joining in the streets to march, protest, boycott, and rally for women's rights and gender equality. Two things that are becoming more and more important under our current administration.

If you want to be a part of it but don't know how, simply turn to your Facebook events and check out the local rallies that are scheduled in your city. There are tons of opportunities for you to get together with your community and make your voice heard. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes, a hearty breakfast, and a great sign.

If crafts aren't your strongpoint and you can't find the words to express how you feel, you might want to just take some inspiration from some of these awesome signs that have surfaced throughout the last few women's marches and rallies. Let these inspire you to make your own sign and find the confidence to get loud Mar. 8:

Getting young people involved in these marches is important. They need to understand the world they're growing up in and so when it comes time for them to influence change, they have the tools to do it.

Make A Banner With Friends

The biggest the better. Instead of making an individual sign, get your girlfriends together and make a giant sign that you all hold up together.
