How's this for an inclusivity win? Designer Lauren Conrad is adding plus sizes to her popular (and affordable) brand, LC Lauren Conrad. Sold exclusively at Kohl's, the brand has done quite well since debuting back in 2009 — and adding sizing up to 3X is a huge step forward.

The new plus size roll-out comes as part of her third Runway Capsule Collection, which will debut on Sept. 6 as a part of New York Fashion Week. As Conrad explained to Women's Wear Daily, this year's collection takes inspiration from the quintessential cool girl, with plenty of "crushed velvets, metallics and faux fur" to go around. It's worth noting, that while the new plus size pieces come as part of the limited runway collection, the increased sizing will actually extend to all parts of the LC Lauren Conrad brand. Permanently.

"Plus is a category I wanted to get in to for a really long time," Conrad told WWD.

The brand partnered with popular plus size blogger Loey Lane for a photoshoot to promote the new sizing. The full campaign and collection has yet to be released, but in the images shared on social media so far, you can see Lane rocking the cool girl crushed velvets Conrad alluded to.

How gorgeous is this pleated, cold-shouldered, crushed velvet party dress? Lane's berry lip completes the look, officially making this a wonderful look for the holiday season.

And seriously, this dusty rose blouse/burgundy skirt combo is also to die for. Looks like LC is doing right by the crushed velvet trend.

Just another reason to look forward to Fashion Week.
