Lena Headey's Style Was Missed At The 2017 Globes

I don't personally know what getting dressed for an awards show is like, but I can imagine that it might be a lot less fun than it looks. There are so many things to consider, from the lighting on the red carpet to whether or not you can comfortably sit in your outfit for hours on end. So perhaps I don't blame Lena Heady for skipping the 2017 Golden Globes red carpet. But that doesn't change the fact that she was missed! After all, she always looks composed — it's a huge reason why her performance on Game of Thrones keeps netting her all these nominations.

Headey's social media feeds don't offer many clues as to why she missed the Globes ceremony on Sunday night, but it doesn't really matter why she wasn't there. The carpet was so much less exciting without her! Her IRL fashion sense always belies the inner fierceness that she exudes in her role as Cersei Lannister in the now-legendary HBO drama based on the books by George R. R. Martin. She favors tough-meets-feminine ensembles that always stand out amongst a steady stream of strapless gowns in candy colors.
