Pretty Little Liars may have to wait until April 18 for the final season of the show to premiere, but fans got to see one of their favorite actors from the show on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC on Saturday night. Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale hosted the Central Time Zone celebration on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2017 and she, well, totally rocked it. Ryan Seacrest hosted the main celebration at Times Square in New York City and Fergie hosted her pre-recorded segments and performances from Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Hale hosted her live segments from New Orleans, which is located in the Central Time Zone and celebrates midnight one hour after the Eastern Time Zone.

Hale is the first host for the first-ever Central Time Zone countdown on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. She spent the night on the rainy roof of a French Quarter restaurant living it up with college football fans, giving out shrimp and oysters, and trying to stay dry under an umbrella. She didn't let the rain damper her enthusiasm at all and she introduced performances by Panic! At The Disco and Jason Derulo, showing that Seacrest isn't the only host with the most on New Year's Eve. Could Hale have a post-PLL career as a host?

If her fans on Twitter had their way, she just might. All throughout the broadcast, fans voiced how much they were enjoying her segments on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

So it seems that the reviews are in: Hale is a great live TV host, especially on New Year's Eve.

Even non-PLL fans were impressed with Hale as a host.

And who knows? Hale could be back as the leader of the Central Time Zone party for New Year's Eve 2018.
