The congratulations keep rolling in for George and Amal Clooney on the birth of their twins, Ella and Alexander. For example, Mae Whitman congratulated George Clooney on his exciting news on Twitter Wednesday. What makes her congratulations extra special is the photo she used and her caption. If you only thought Whitman was a talent on the small and big screen, you couldn't be more wrong. The former Parenthood star also shines in real life, including on social media.

Whitman posted an adorable throwback of herself and Clooney from the set of the 1996 film One Fine Day, which also starred Michelle Pfeiffer. Next to it, she hilariously wrote, "hey congrats george on our new additions to the family love your OG babykid." This tweet is pure perfection and will please fans of One Fine Day greatly. For those who haven't seen the movie (by the way, you totally should), Whitman and Clooney played daughter and father. They were the cutest co-stars ever and made the movie ridiculously enjoyable.

As you can see below, the old photo shows a young Whitman holding Clooney's hand. I mean, does it get sweeter than that? Just look at The DUFF actor's smile. Like usual, the now 56-year-old new dad is looking pretty darn handsome. They really did make a great pretend father/daughter duo.

On Tuesday, Clooney officially became a dad. He and Amal released a hilarious statement announcing the birth of their twins, which made the news all the more better. "This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives," it read. "Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days."

Between the Clooneys' statement and Whitman's walk down nostalgia lane, I am overwhelmed with happiness. As for One Fine Day, if you'd like to see Clooney and Whitman in action as Jack and Maggie Taylor (you know you want to), here is the trailer.

Yeah, I need to go pop in One Fine Day immediately.
