By now, you're probably aware that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are engaged. Because how could you not be. Ever since the couple shared the big news, the actress' sparkly new rock has been the hot topic of discussion. Well, that, and the fact that she looked absolutely stunning in her first engagement photo-op with Prince Harry. So stunning that one is forced to wonder what Meghan Markle's beauty secrets are because she is damn gorgeous all the time.

Her pearly whites are bright, her skin has a healthy glow, and not a single hair is ever out of place. Ever.

If you're hoping to get the low down on her glam, it turns out the Suits star has already spilled the tea. The actress turned soon-to-be royal highness opened up in a past interview with Birchbox about her personal beauty tips and go-to products. Cosmopolitan unearthed the interview after the royal engagement so you, too, can get the look of newly engaged royalty.

Read on to discover the secret to Markle's fab ways — and be sure to take a few notes while you're at it.

1. Go Skimp With Your Foundation

It doesn't take layers and layers of foundation to get a flawless face. According to Markle, you don't even have to coat your entire facade with a base to get glam.

"Only apply foundation to the spots you need it and spread it with a beautyblender," said Markle. "I never want to cover my freckles, so we just do a wash of foundation in certain sections instead of over the entire face."

2. Fake Awake With Strategic Highlighting

Let's face it. Highlighting is practically a science. Applied to the inner corners of your eyes, an illuminator can work miracles.

"To open up your eyes, apply a highlighter like Yves Saint Laurent’s Touche Éclat in the inner corner," Markle said to Birchbox. "This trick is especially good when we are filming at 3 a.m. and I need to look bright eyed and bushy tailed."

Heed the future princess' orders and never underestimate the power of a good highlighter.

3. Tame The Flyaways

A girl has got to get a handle on her frizzies. The right hairspray and a mini groomer are the dynamic duo that'll always keep your flyaways in check, according to Markle.

"For my flyaways, I spray hairspray on a small boar bristle toothbrush (a regular toothbrush also works great!) to lightly brush them down or smooth the hairline," the actress says. "This is especially good for a sleek bun when I am off-camera."

4. Hair Flips Are Key

When in doubt, hair flip it out. No hot tool, rollers, or hairspray could ever do your locks justice quite like a good 'ol toss of your mane.

"There is nothing like a hair flip," Markle emphasized. "When my hair is feeling a little weighted, Suanne, my hair artist on set, has me bend forward and she sprays a little Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray or nothing at all, and then has me flip back hard to give my hair a little extra bounce."

Clearly, there's power in a good hair flip.

5. Don't Shy Away From Facial Exercises

It may sound strange, but exercising your face is a thing, and a useful thing at that. Markle's chiseled features may be credited in part to the facial workouts she does.

"I do facial exercises from one of my favorite aestheticians, Nicola Joss, who basically has you sculpt your face from the inside out," she shared. "I swear it works, as silly as you may feel. On the days I do it, my cheekbones and jawline are waaaay more sculpted."

Duly noted.

There's a reason Meghan Markle radiates with beauty. Girlfriend has all the tips and tricks for an immaculate appearance — and a boatload of royal confidence, which is the biggest beauty tip of all.
