These Adorable Pics Of Michael Phelps' Toddler Show Just How Excited He Is About Being A Big Brother

Now here is some super exciting news. Michael & Nicole Phelps are expecting their second child. The Olympic swimmer announced the news on Instagram Tuesday in the cutest way possible — by using photos of his 15-month-old son, Boomer Phelps. Based on the images, it's clear that Boomer is just as excited as his parents are about their impending addition.

In the first picture posted on Michael's Instagram, Boomer's happiness doesn't go unnoticed. He's even holding the pregnancy test taken by his mom. Nicole is also shown smiling wide, while holding her son. "Number 2 on the way!!!! So excited!! Wonder if it's a boy or a girl??" the caption of the sweet photo reads.

A second Instagram was shared on Boomer's official page (which is run by Michael), featuring the toddler clapping his hands together and showcasing that fantastic smile of his. Once again, the pregnancy test is on display and you can even read its results. "So excited to see what mama is having!!" it's captioned. "Do I get to have a brother or a sister?!?"

No other details have been released just yet, but here's hoping Michael and Nicole keep their fans in the loop. In May 2016, Nicole gave birth to Boomer and ever since, he's become a huge sensation. How can you not love that face?

Last October, Michael teased that another child was a very likely possibility. In a Facebook Live video, the 32-year-old swimmer responded to a fan, "Thank you for the beautiful comment. Baby number two may be coming soon. Who knows, though?"

He also opened up to People in April about potentially becoming a father again. "We are so fortunate to have a healthy and happy baby and hopefully more coming soon, but we don’t know when." He added, "We’re going through life everyday happy and blessed with what we have. But I hope to have more kids in the future." Well, now is that time.
