There are a lot of activities you can do together as a couple. Movie dates, hikes, dinner outings, all those romantic things. But there's perhaps nothing that will bond two people as much as being selfless and giving back to others. Case in point, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth visited Rady Children's Hospital together in San Diego, as Just Jared reports, and the pictures of the two interacting with the patients are so touching that they'll melt your heart. Especially when you learn Hemsworth's role in the whole thing.

Cyrus is no stranger to charitable acts. On her Instagram, she first alluded to the visit with a selfie, shouting out her Happy Hippie Foundation. She wrote, "It's a VERY special day for @happyhippiefdn !!!! Will fill y'all in SOOOOON! Can't wait to share 🌺🌼🌷🌻."

And fill us in she did. The Voice judge posted pictures with the children at the hospital that they visited. The best part is, the singer and the actor looked genuinely as upbeat and excited to meet the kids as the kids did to meet them, and it's an adorable thing to witness. It's evident that both Hemsworth and Cyrus really took the time out to make their day better in any way that they could, even if it was through a silly selfie.

On an even more endearing note, Cyrus wrote, "Thank you for having us today! Beautiful children everywhere! β€οΈπŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’œ @liamhemsworth is OFFICIALLY a #happyhippie !!!! @happyhippiefdn."

I'm not quite sure there's a more wonderful present your significant other can give you than to help out and become part of your charitable organization. These two clearly have a great thing going. Especially when you consider that the altruistic gestures they make towards one another extend to those less fortunate.

I think there are many fans officially back on the Miley and Liam shipper train β€” if Cyrus and Hemsworth's recent holiday celebrations together weren't already reason enough.
