Netflix series Stranger Things captivated audiences last summer with its many mysteries, including the origins of Eleven. For her role as mysterious young woman, Millie Bobby Brown won at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday night. Brown took home the Best Actor in a Show popcorn trophy on May 7 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. She took to the stage to accept her award and she thanked Netflix, her management, the cast and crew of Stranger Things, and her family. As she thanked her parents for being supportive, the actor teared up and became emotional. Aw!

Winners of this year's MTV Movie & TV Awards were determined by fan vote via MTV.com and she first and foremost thanked the voters. Brown clutched the popcorn trophy as she teared up during the speech and praised director Shawn Levy, as well as the Duffer Brothers. She called Levy "one of the best directors I've had the pleasure of working with." "Everything you taught me I will carry for the rest of my career," Brown said in her speech. She also praised the Duffer Brothers for creating Eleven, "a badass female iconic character that I've had the honor to play."
