If you thought this accessory from the Women's March would go away anytime soon, think again. Missoni models wore pussy hats at Milan Fashion Week, and not only did the show's finale show a sea of pink, but the entire audience received pussy hats on their seats as well. The caps made a statement about the current political climate and reflected success of the Women's March, and they looked fabulous on everyone involved.

It's safe to say that the shock of the 2016 presidential election was heard all around the world, and various runways throughout fashion month are evidence of that. Not only was New York Fashion Week filled with political attire, but the shows in London and Milan have been as well. One LFW runway featured a "more glitter, less twitter" sweater, and pussy hats walked the runway at Missoni's MFW show.

You might remember the double-eared, pink caps from the Women's March on Washington, which took place on Jan. 21, 2017. Women wore them in protest at the day-long event, but the accessory clearly has staying power. According to The Pussy Hat Project, the hats are meant to "provide women's rights supporters a way to come together in a virtual march to represent themselves, connect, and support women's rights, whether or not they are physically marching."

The models at Missoni's MFW show, including Gigi Hadid, wore pussy for the grand finale. That's what they call going out with a bang, my friends! According to Vogue, some of the proceeds from the collection will benefit the American Civil Liberties Union and the UN Refugee Agency.

If you don't already have one of these caps, now's the perfect time to stock up — The Pussy Hat Project is promoting the accessories for a Global Virtual March on Mar. 8, just like they did for the Women's March.
