Natalie Portman's Globes Dress Seems Familiar

They say life imitates art, and that couldn't be more true than Natalie Portman at the Golden Globes. The actress showed up channeling Jackie Kennedy in the most beautiful yellow dress ever — and one that truly was a nod to the presidential past.

Which, of course, is right on point. Portman is nominated for Best Performance in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role as the former First Lady in Jackie. So she's definitely had some on-set practice rocking that mid-century White House look. Not to mention, Portman is the spitting image of Jackie herself, so the whole prim (yet ridiculously stylish) look suits her perfectly.

Her dress was a floor-length canary yellow Prada, with just about the best neckline ever. (Very Jackie O.) Portman completed the look with swept back hair, and gorgeous chandelier earrings.

Did I mention her jewels are from 1910? The actress proudly announced that fact on the red carpet, and who wouldn't? Not only is she bringing us all back in her recent role, but now she's dropping in other eras, as well. I bet she would have made Jackie very proud.

I mean, take a look at this dress. So perfectly proper.

Check out that embroidery, too.

And her flawless makeup.

I really thought that was Jackie herself on the right.

There's no doubting her look was a nod to the former first lady. The yellow dress, the makeup, and the swept back hair? Too perfect.

Natalie, you are stunning!
