It’s been almost three decades since “You Got It (The Right Stuff)” dominated pop radio, and New Kids on the Block continue to churn out the bops. On Tuesday, Billboard unveiled the music video for NKOTB song “One More Night,” their first single in four years. And yes, both the music video and the song have got the right stuff. But come on, what else would you expect from the veteran boy band?

A good boy band music video usually falls into one of two categories: (a) The Dance Music Video (e.g., “Liquid Dreams” by O-Town, “Uh Huh” by B2K, “Larger Than Life” by the Backstreet Boys, “Slam Dunk (Da Funk)” by Five, and “Pop” by *NSYNC), or (b) The Feeling Feelings Music Video (e.g., “Gone” by *NSYNC, “Incomplete” by the Backstreet Boys, “Water Runs Dry” by Boyz II Men, “If You Go Away” by NKOTB). “One More Night” falls in the latter category.

Boy howdy, do Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood feel some feelings in this clip. The boy banders feel feelings as they stare out of windows, at a city skyline, out of car windshields, and through sunglass lenses. And they do so masterfully.

Oh, wait. Wait just a second. I almost forgot about the third category of boy band music video: The Dance/Feelings Combo Music Video (e.g., “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys). Y'all, that may just be the category for "One More Night."

At the end of the video...

...NKOTB takes a stage…

… And nails some light choreography.

Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh. We have ourselves a Dance/Feelings Combo Music Video.
