One of the most memorable moments from Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette was her visit to Bryan Abasolo's hometown. The couple spent the day in Bryan's home city of Miami, Florida, and when it came time for Rachel to meet the family, the trip got a bit more complicated. Bryan's last relationship ended because his girlfriend didn't get along with his mother, and he made it clear that marrying him meant marrying his family as well. Now that the two are engaged, Rachel and Bryan are spending quality time with their families, and it seems to be going well. On Saturday, Bryan posted a picture of the couple with his grandmother, and last week the two met all of Rachel's extended family at their engagement party.

Rachel made it clear during the season finale that the newly-engaged couple would take things slow, and they have yet to decide whether they will live in Dallas, Miami, or Los Angeles. In the meantime, they seem to be splitting time between their two homes, and using the opportunity to get to know each other's family and friends. In Dallas, the two had an engagement party, and Lindsay posted plenty of pics with Bryan and her fam on her Instagram story. The two also threw out the first pitch at a Rangers game, making it a true hometown experience. Later, Bryan introduced Rachel to his grandmother, and reported that his fiancé got her approval.

The former contestant wrote: "Grandma's approval is always important...of course she passed the test [with] flying colors [heart emojis]." This isn't the first time that Rachel won over the hearts of Bryan's family, as she earned plenty of trust and respect from his sister and mother during her televised hometown visit. During a private engagement party in Dallas, it was Bryan's turn to feel the pressure, as the pictures from the event show him meeting many of the star's family members.

Rachel captioned the photo set with an appreciative message for her fam, writing: "My Houston family showered [Bryan] and me with so much love [heart emoji]." Even when Rachel appeared on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor, she made it clear how important her family was to her, so it was likely important to her that Bryan gets to know her relatives before their wedding. It seems that this party went well, as Bryan also posted his own pic from the event that called Rachel "my world" and used the hashtag for their celeb couple name, #brachel.

In general, the famous engaged couple seem to be enjoying their newfound social media freedom. Prior to the show's finale, they had to keep their relationship private for several months, but now that their engagement is public knowledge they are making up for lost time. "It feels so good," Rachel told E! News after the final episode aired, "Light." In addition to meeting the family, the couple have been spending quite a bit of time together, and have documented their dates on social media. They've hung out with dogs in New York, went to a Wings game in Dallas, and done a lot of shopping together. The two were also spotted smooching on a flight, and onstage at the Y100 Mack-a-Pooloza party in Miami.

Right now, the Bachelorette couple don't have a set date for their wedding. According to E!, Rachel has mentioned a winter wedding, and that it could be set for next year. It's clear that these two are taking the time to cultivate a meaningful relationship first, and getting to know the family is a major step. These two established that they were family-oriented people from day one, so if their recent visits home are any indication, it seems their values are perfectly matched.
