With just a few more episodes left of The Bachelorette this season, we know that it's going to end with Rachel Lindsay engaged to Eric Bigger, Peter Kraus, or Bryan Absolo. And no matter who her fiancé ends up being, it sounds like Rachel is trying to be as transparent as she can with him as the show continues to air. In an interview with E! News, Rachel revealed that her fiancé watches every episode of The Bachelorette, and it's led to a lot of difficult conversations for them.

Since the beginning of the season, Rachel's been open about the fact that she does end the season as an engaged woman — we just don't know who the lucky guy is quite yet. But according to Rachel herself, he's very into keeping up with all things Bachelorette, which seems like it could be a recipe for disaster. Watching the person you're newly engaged to get romantic with other men on national television? That could take a toll on any relationship. But fortunately enough, it sounds like Rachel and her guy have turned his habit into a productive way to strengthen their relationship, which could help their relationship stand the test of post-TV time.

Rachel said:

"My fiancé wants to watch everything. Like, everything. Everything! He wants to be well-informed, which is hard for me!. . . We're not really together all the time, but we both watch everything. So after Mondays, I have some explaining to do. We talk about it, we get over it, we move on."

Those conversations can't be fun — who wants to get into the details of their relationship with an ex with their current partner? — but it sounds like they're getting through it surprisingly well. That kind of honesty and pressure on a relationship must be hard, but it's good that they're being open and having difficult talks like these. Setting that kind of standard from the beginning is a good thing, and if they can keep this going, it could definitely help them make it in the long run.

Rachel also dropped a couple of other hints in her interview that will mean she and her fiancé might go the distance. One example? She's taking her time when it comes to walking down the aisle.

"Obviously, I want to get married, I'm not going to deny that," she said. "But I'm not planning a wedding anytime soon."

Just ask JoJo Fletcher and Kaitlyn Bristowe — two recent Bachelorette stars who still aren't married, even though both of their seasons ended a long time ago but are still together with their final pick. Taking her time could help Rachel's relationship last, and after everything she's been through in the name of love this season and on The Bachelor, she deserves the best love story possible.

Whoever Rachel is engaged to right now is a very lucky dude, and now, there are just weeks to go before they can take their relationship public. Is it time for that final rose ceremony yet?
