Ranking 11 Of The Most Recent 'Bachelor' Rings

by Taylor Ferber
ABC/Terhi Tuovinen

I'll be honest, after 15 years and 34 combined seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, a major payoff of the awkward limo intros and random cry sessions is the inevitable, huge engagement rings. Because The Bachelor engagement rings didn't get to serious-business level until around Season 5 of The Bachelorette with Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski. No, I don't mess around when it comes to wedding rings -- and yes, I did the legwork to be sure. And seeing as how there's someone popping the question at the end of nearly every season, there are a ton of beautiful rings to choose from.

A majority of the engagement rings given on the show cost between $60,000 and $90,000. Subtle. These are some top-notch diamonds, and although ABC doesn't totally front the bill, it's not like contestants are paying. With most of the rings acting as shameless Neil Lane placement products, I imagine they have their pick of the bunch, Sweet Home Alabama-style.

And these guys do a good job for the most part. I mean, how can you mess up a five-figure diamond ring ? Almost impossible. These 11 recent rings, ranked from gorgeous to absolutely stunning (there's really no losing there) prove Rachel Lindsay has lots to quite possibly look forward to.

1

J.P. Rosenbaum & Ashley Hebert

Season 7 Bachelorette Ashley scored big time from her run on the show, and she has the rock to prove it. J.P. Rosenbaum proposed with a 3.5-carat, central cushion-cut Neil Lane ring with 162 small diamonds around the platinum band. Although the ring was worth around $60,000, their marriage (which is still going strong) and growing family seem to be priceless.

2

Chris Siegfried & Desiree Hartsock

Bachelorette Desiree got her happily ever after and then some when her prince, Chris Siegfried, proposed with a 4-carat Neil Lane cushion-cut diamond. The ring also featured over 200 small diamonds along the intertwining rose gold and platinum band. The two are still married, and welcomed a baby boy last year.

3

Jordan Rodgers & JoJo Fletcher

Recent Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher received a simple yet stunning ring from her current fiancee, Jordan Rodgers. Rodgers proposed with a 3-carat, hand-crafted platinum ring which has an oval-shaped diamond and 155 smaller diamonds around the band.

4

Josh Murray & Andi Dorfman

When getting proposed to by Josh Murray after her run on The Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman received an oval-cut diamond stone with two halos and a platinum band. The Neil Lane ring was worth $72,000, but sadly had to be returned when the two called it quits after a few months of being engaged.

5

Shawn Booth & Kaitlyn Bristowe

The most expensive ring in the show's history, Booth proposed with a $150,000 3.5 carat Neil Lane beauty on The Bachelorette. The two are still engaged since the 2015 season, because who would want to give up that stunning gem?

6

Ben Flajnik & Courtney Robertson

On the 16th season of The Bachelor, Ben Flajnik proposed to Courtney Robertson with a 3-carat Neil Lane gem, reportedly costing a whopping $80,000. The gorgeous cushion-cut diamond ring included an intricately carved platinum motif setting with 96 round-cut diamonds. Flajnik was reportedly unfaithful, and Robertson returned the ring to him before they had the chance to walk down the aisle.

7

Nick Viall & Vanessa Grimaldi

ABC's last Bachelor, Nick Viall, proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi with a breathtaking 3.75-carat round-cut ring. This beauty is set with a round-cut diamond in the center and has a halo of smaller diamonds around the central stone, also accented with 164 round-cut and two larger baguette-cut diamonds. The two are still engaged, and if that ring has to get returned, I may just cry.

8

Brad Womach & Emily Maynard

On Season 15 of The Bachelor, Womach proposed to Maynard with a true $50,000 stunner. Maynard received a 3-carat platinum and diamond ring with a central cushion-cut diamond surrounded by 263 round, brilliant-cut diamonds. Sadly, after about six months of engagement, the two called it off and Maynard went on to give a stab at The Bachelorette. Her engagement to Jef Holm was also called off after a few months, but Maynard found her prince in Tyler Johnson, and the two wed in 2014.

9

Chris Soules & Whitney Bischoff

It's a shame these two couldn't make it work, because this ring was one-of-a-kind. The 4-carat diamond ring Soules gave Bischoff was a diamond-and-platinum design with an emerald-cut diamond surrounded by 20 round brilliant-cut diamonds, two tapered baguettes, and 92 smaller round diamonds, amounting to 115 stones. The two called it quits two months after the show, and there went the stunner.

11

Sean Lowe & Catherine Giudici

These two lovebirds got engaged in 2013, when Lowe proposed with a 3.15-carat ring (Neil Lane) with cushion-cut diamond surrounded by 164 smaller diamonds. They're still married with a little baby boy, and have a ring as stunning as their love.

12

Ben Higgins & Lauren Bushnell

On Season 20 of The Bachelor, Higgins proposed with a 4.25-carat Art Deco-style ring set with a central radiant-cut diamond and surrounded by over 240 round and baguette cut diamonds. It was a multi-tiered perfection on a hand, and to no surprise, Neil Lane. Here's a side view for good measure. The $100,000 ring was sadly returned once the two split.
