Vicki Gunvalson's Tweet Will Make You LOL

Well, this is exactly what I needed on this gloomy inauguration day. As the rain pours down on what would turn out to be a less than stellar crowd at Donald Trump's swearing in ceremony on Friday afternoon, Real Housewives of Orange County star, Vicki Gunvalson sent out a since-deleted inauguration tweet that would end up totally brightening my day. The long time Bravolebrity, who just so happens to be out of the country on a family vacation, took to Twitter to compliment our new First Lady, Melania Trump but accidentally referred to her as "Melanie" instead. *laughs out loud, literally*

Sure, I shouldn't be so tickled by Gunvalson's apparent typo, but for some reason, it just helped to lighten my mood — just a little bit. As Former President Obama leaves the White House, and Trump waltzes in, a bit of comic relief may just be what we all need. And lucky for me, Gunvalson took the time out of her sunny vacay in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to share her admiration for the newly minted FLOTUS. Although, the shoutout was a nice gesture, the reality star's comment could be seen as somewhat of a snub directed at our outgoing First Lady, Michelle Obama, and perhaps, all presidential wives that came before her.

I guess I don't need to tell you that the Twitter-verse lit fire to her statement moments later, sharing their thoughts on both the comment and typographical error.

Although, I'm quite sure that Gunvalson is completely unbothered by the whole thing, since she later posted a new tweet with the correct spelling and acted like nothing happened. She's most likely under a palm tree sipping tequila – as she should be.

But Twitter didn't let that slide either:

While the social backfire was fierce, let me be the first to say that Melania did look great while she stood by her husband's side as he was sworn into his presidency — I mean, I'm no hater.

I am, though, still trying to settle into these next four years and I guess I'll just have to take it one day at a time. What's that leave me with... like, only 1,461 days left until inauguration day 2021, right?

Hey Vicki, you think I could I get a shot of that tequila you're sipping on?
