In news that may (or may not) come as a surprise, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna reportedly broke up, according to People. A source close to the couple claimed to People, "They split a while ago. The wedding plans are off." Considering how many times ChyRo has been subject to breakup rumors in the past, it's tough to tell whether it's actually real this time. Reps for Kardashian and Chyna could not be reached by Bustle at the time of publication.
However, if the split is actually final, there appears to be a sliver of good news. The inside source told People, "They are both trying to be mature about it. It was less dramatic this time." The less drama, the better. But, wait — "this time"? Does that mean all the past splits were legitimate? I have plenty of questions over here.
In case you're in need of a ChyRo recap, Kardashian and Chyna first began dating last January. And in that year, they've had quite the roller coaster romance. This included breakup rumors in October, an entire baby shower debacle, and the hackings of their respective Instagram pages. But it wasn't all dramatic moments — the pair launched their own E! reality series and gave birth to a dream of a daughter (quite literally named Dream Kardashian).
If the pair really did split this time, I'm hoping they find a way to coparent their daughter and keep things friendly. But still, I'm taking this news with a grain of salt until the couple confirms themselves. Just three weeks ago, Kardashian posted an anniversary tribute to Chyna — as you can see below.
Kardashian's anniversary post, which included "1 year down lol woohoooooo happy anniversary babbbbbbiiiiiiiieeeeeee" as the caption, makes me skeptical that the pair actually split "a while ago," as the insider claimed. From the sound of that caption, they may have a long romantic road ahead of them.
But then again, if there's one thing I know about Kardashian and Chyna, it's that I never know what to expect. Fans will just have to wait and see.
