Sarah Jessica Parker’s Eclipse Videos Win, Everyone Else Can Stop Posting

There's no arguing that Monday's solar eclipse was a monumental occasion that many people were understandably excited about. However, there is one actor who took things to the next level. If you haven't seen them yet, you need to watch Sarah Jessica Parker's eclipse videos. Her Instagram posts are hands-down the best thing you'll see all day (yes, better than Donald Trump staring directly at the eclipse without special glasses).

In one poorly filmed video (you can't even see her face most of the time), the former Sex and the City star is on a boat in South Carolina trying to hold her eclipse glasses onto her face. It is so windy, it's hard to decipher exactly what she's saying, but at one point Parker declares excitedly, "See the sun? Don't look too long!" She then can be heard saying, "Maybe one of the most thrilling moments of my life outside, of course, having my children and marriage and all that."

Thankfully, there are two other noteworthy videos that are better quality. In the second one, Parker films the moment when the full eclipse occurs. You have never heard the Emmy winner so thrilled. She can hardly contain herself. "Oh my god, this is the most spectacular light I've ever seen," the 52-year-old says. "It doesn't make any sense! It's happening!" If that isn't fantastic enough, in the third video, she changes her voice to a whisper and utters, "We made it! We made it! Oh my god, we saw it!"

And with that, sit back, relax, and enjoy watching SJP experience a solar eclipse.

"Eclipse Chasing"

Don't worry, she absolutely makes up for the bad recording.

"It's happening!"

"I wish you all were here!" Same, SJP. Same.

"It's so humbling. It's extraordinary."

Uh-mazing.

Her reaction isn't going unnoticed, either. It's so epic that this parody video already cropped up on social media:

Sarah Jessica, thank you for making the eclipse even more worthwhile.
