Everyone stop what you're doing and go grab a pair of scissors. Now grab all of your favorite dresses, shirts, and sweaters and cut some interesting holes in the shoulder and arm area. Why? Because unique and interesting sleeves were trending on the 2017 Golden Globes red carpet proving that it's going to be a big look for the upcoming year. From Sarah Jessica Parker's Vera Wang bridal gown to Hailee Steinfeld's frilly pink dress, the sleeves were the stars of nearly every celebrity's ensembles.

The Golden Globes are always fun to watch because it's the first major awards show of the season, not only setting the tone for what to expect at the SAG awards and the Oscars, but also giving us insight for what's trending in fashion for the upcoming year. There were definitely a lot of stand-outs, like embroidered details (see: Jessica Chastain's gorgeous gown) to plunging necklines (see: Kristen Bell), but more than anything, sleeves were where the fun details were at. From cut-out shoulders to sleek caped sleeves to mesh inserts, no one sleeve on a dress was the same.

Here are some of the best, most beautiful, and unique sleeves at the Golden Globes.
