Sola Look 'Dirty Dancing' Swatches Are Here

I've been tipping you off to the Sola Look x Dirty Dancing Palette, which celebrates the iconic '80s film and its 30th anniversary, lately. Each tease on the brand's social media teases gets better and better. The Dirty Dancing Palette features imagery from the beloved movie, as well as four eyeshadows in different textures, a highlighter, and a liquid lipstick. The brand has finally posted swatches of the Dirty Dancing Palette and OMG! They will have you doing the happy dance.

There's Johnny Castle, which is a matte black shadow named after the film's hunky hero, played by the late Patrick Swayze. It matches Castle's iconic leather jacket. Back to the Playpen is a blue x grey pearl shadow, while I Carried A Watermelon is a hot pink satin matte with sparkle. Then there is Cha Cha, a satin matte purple. The highlighter is dubbed "Merengue" and it's peach pink perfection.

The liquid lippie is a deep and brickish red and it's named after the movie's heroine Baby!

If you are a Dirty Dancing buff, well, you should recognize all the references of the product names. If not, the swatches themselves will inspire you to binge-watch the movie all weekend so you can become familiar. It's totally worth the investment of time.

Check the swatches below!

The palette is $36 and 1,000 will be available for pre-order on Saturday, Mar. 18 at 3pm ET/12pm PT. If you pre-order then, your card will be charged and the product will ship around Apr. 12. The official on-sale is Saturday, Apr. 22 and you can certainly wait to order the palette at that time. But who has that sort of patience?

This pretty palette is a gorgeous celebration of a film that can transport you to another time and place. I love when pop culture and cosmetics collide like this.

Have you completely and totally fallen in love with the Sola Look x Dirty Dancing palette yet? I mean, how can you not?
