Baby Spice has put one of the greatest zig-a-zig-snot mysteries of our time to rest. Emma Bunton recently swung by BuzzFeed’s L.A. office to surprise some of the iconic pop group's unsuspecting fans, and yes, the video is an absolute delight. In the clip, Bunton talks about her favorite Spice Girls tune, what it's like to be part of such an influential group, and leaving pieces of dried mucus on desks. Yes, when one fan asked if she and the rest of the Spice Force Five "really put boogers underneath managers’ desks," Bunton delivered an answer for the history books.

The booger inquiry was not apropos of nothing, mind you. Rather, it was inspired by the interview the quintet did when they were on the cover of Rolling Stone in 1997. At one point in the RS article, Geri Horner (née Halliwell) mused, "We might put a boogie under the table in someone's office."

And yes, there’s plenty more booger talk where that came from. You can and should read the entire legendary interview over at Rolling Stone’s site.

To those wondering if the Spice Girls really stuck pieces of buried treasure to office tables, you may wonder no more. It’s been 20 years since that issue of Rolling Stone was available at a supermarket near you, and Bunton has set the record straight. When BuzzFeed asked if there was any truth to Horner’s booger remark, the Boy Band architect laughed, “Yeah, we did some vile things.”

Well, there you have it. It sounds like the “Say You’ll Be There” queens truly did leave their boogs on the undersides of some lucky desks after all. One might even say they really spiced up those desks' lives.

Anyway, check out the wonderful BuzzFeed video below (and try to not get too jealous).

This probably goes without saying, but this video is most certainly the content the Spice Girls die-hard typing this sentence craves.
