Kat Von D Beauty Just Invented The First 24-Hour-Wear Lipstick

Yes, you read that right — a full day of lip color. Swatches of the Everlasting Glimmer Veil will blow you away and make you want to shop as soon as possible. Kat Von D Beauty is no stranger to long-lasting products. The brand has created best-selling liquid lipsticks and even foundation that covers tattoos, but now they're stepping it up even more. According to the press release, Kat Von D Beauty's Everlasting Glimmer Veils are the first shimmery 24-hour lasting lipstick on the market. So you can look great while you pull that all nighter.

The new long-wear formula is described as liquified-crystal looking. The lipstick has a metallic shine to it and, according to the Instagram sneak peek, will come in nine different bold-colored shades. It's the bright, weightless, and a non-gritty glitter look that you never knew you needed. "This formula is like heaven on your lips," Kat Von D said in a press release.

The launch is just as unconventional as the color. According to the press release, the bright blue shade Reverb is available on Aug. 3 for 24 hours only on the Kat Von D Beauty website. After that, all nine shades will be available on the Sephora App on Aug. 9 for 24-hour only. Then the collection will official launch on the Kat Von D Beauty and Sephora website on Aug. 22 and in-stores on Sept. 8.

Everlasting Glimmer Veil, $22 each, Kat Von D

The nine Everlasting Glimmer Veil shades range from gorgeous golden and warm-toned shades to cool-toned blues and purples. Because they are a little different than your typical liquid lipstick, these are a little bit pricier. Each one of the shades are $22 each, making the full collection a cool $198.

There's no word on whether the shade actually lasts a full 24-hours, but, with the launch finally here, it won't be long until it's put to the test. Either way, Kat Von D Beauty deserves a massive round of applause for constantly making their products bigger and better than before.
