Target Just Announced New Pumpkin Spice Items & They're All Under $3

As autumn gallops ever closer, the House of the Red Bull’s Eye just announced their fall food collection for 2018 — and predictably, though certainly not disappointingly, it turns out that tons of new pumpkin spice items are coming to Target soon. Indeed, according to the Daily Meal, most of these sweets and eats will hit shelves on Sept. 2, which is a mere week and a half away. Are all my dreams finally becoming true? Well… maybe not quite, but this is all very good news, indeed. I’ve learned to embrace the Coming of the Pumpkin Spice Messiah each fall, even if it seems to be arriving earlier and earlier every year.

Target’s 2018 fall food collection consists of 16 limited-edition items, reports Refinery29. Ranging from baking mixes to coffee and snacks to cold, refrigerated drinks, they’re largely new offerings; only three of them have made previous appearances during Pumpkin Spice Season. All of that adds up to some incredibly exciting times for my pantry, and I can’t wait to go out and stock my kitchen with all of them.

However, it's worth noting that pumpkin spice isn’t the only flavor profile on display in Target’s fall food line. Indeed, there’s actually a wide variety of tastes to be had, including maple pecan and caramel apple. Of particular interest (to me, at least) are the Caramel Apple Bar Mix, the Almond Toffee Coffee, and the Maple Pecan Milk. Why those three items? I love cookie bars; coffee that sounds like it’s actually a candy bar is one of my favorite things; and I’m just flat-out intrigued by the idea of something called “Maple Pecan Milk” — ergo, these options fascinate me.

But, I mean, let’s face it: The pumpkin spice picks will always reign supreme. Here are the six items featuring that most venerable of flavors coming to Target in the very near future:

1

Pumpkin Pie Greek Yogurt

Target

I will admit that pumpkin spice Greek yogurt isn’t my favorite thing; I’ve tried the flavor from a few other brands, and there’s just something about it that doesn’t quite do it for me. If it does for you, though, then this version from Simply Balanced — Target’s organic brand, which originally launched in 2013 — might be worth checking out. Available on Sept. 2, it’ll sell for $0.79 per cup.

2

Pumpkin Spice Pretzels

Target

Uh, yes, please. This creamy, crunchy treat takes everything that is wonderful about chocolate- or yogurt-covered pretzels and makes it even better, because it is fall-themed and fall is the best season.

(I will die on the “fall is the best season” hill without hesitation.)

Pick ‘em up for $2.99 per bag on Sept. 2.

3

Pumpkin Spice Caramel Corn

Target

Typically, the only way I will eat popcorn is if it’s covered in caramel and chocolate… but I’ll make an exception for popcorn that’s covered in caramel and whatever the heck the crunchy glaze form of pumpkin spice is. This Archer Farms snack will sell for around $2.99 once Sept. 2 rolls around.

4

Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix

Target

This quick bread mix is the second most exciting item on this list, hands down. I mean, don’t get me wrong — I enjoy baking and consuming a totally-from-scratch loaf of pumpkin bread as much as the next person — but sometimes, you don’t have the time or energy or canned pumpkin to make one. That’s what quick bread mixes are for — and this one fits the bill nicely. It’ll set you back around $2.79 per box as of Sept. 2.

5

Pumpkin Spice Eggnog

Target

If the quick bread mix is only the second most exciting item on the list, though, what’s the most exciting one? This eggnog. I know, I know — usually, eggnog is a November/December thing, so we could easily view the arrival of a pumpkin spice variety in October as an example of the dreaded holiday creep. But, I mean… pumpkin spice eggnog. How can you say no to that? It’s probably like drinking an actual pumpkin pie, and I am Here For It. Grab it beginning in October for $2.59 a carton.

Most of Target's fall food options will arrive on Sept. 2; the rest will hit shelves in October. Be on the lookout — for once the Spicening begins, it doesn't stop for anyone.
