If anyone knows about dating in the spotlight and dealing with the aftermath of a failed relationship, it's Taylor Swift. So to hear that Camila Cabello gets relationship advice from Swift is not surprising whatsoever. While chatting with Teen Vogue as the magazine's March/April cover star, the former Fifth Harmony singer said that T. Swift is someone she has and continues to reach out to about boys.

"Taylor is always the person that I go to for boy advice," she said. "The reason we became friends was purely because we think the same way about a lot of things: We're both really sensitive and emotional when it comes to love. We love love, and we love writing songs about love."

The "Bad Things" singer also said something similar about her friendship with Swift in early February during an interview with The Sun. "We talk about love a lot and if I ever have any questions about love or if there’s anything that I’m going through at the time, whether it’s with a boy or with a friend, she’s a very good person to ask those kind of questions," she said. "She’s very knowledgeable about that stuff."

There's no doubt that Swift has written a song or two (OK, more like a lot) about her exes and romance. It's what she's known for. As for Cabello, when she was part of Fifth Harmony and even as a solo singer, she also sings about love. So you know what all of this means, right? These two besties are so going to collaborate on a song about love sooner rather than later. If they don't, it's just going to be super disappointing. They can combine their all of their romance knowledge and most likely come up with one catchy and badass song about love. Who knows if it's something they're currently thinking about or doing, but here's hoping they are.

Seeing as Swift is also Cabello's inspiration when it comes to writing, it only makes sense for these two to make music together. In December 2015, the 19-year-old opened up to Teen Vogue about how the 1989 artist reached out to her after Cabello's duet, "I Know What You Did Last Summer," with Shawn Mendes dropped. She said,

Taylor and I were texting the other day and she told me she loved the song and was like, "Dude, I’m so proud of you." My heart fell out of my butt. I told her how much it meant to me that she said that because she was one of the artists that inspired me to write songs in the first place and she is one of my biggest musical influences. She probably doesn't even remember this but the first time we met at a VMA party, the first thing I asked her about was songwriting advice.

Between that, their chats about love, and all that they have in common about dating in the public eye, it's like Cabello and Swift were destined to write and perform together. Now let's keep those fingers crossed that it comes to fruition.
