If you weren't ready to cry at the In Memoriam segment at the Academy Awards, well, you probably couldn't resist thanks in part to Sara Bareilles. The 2017 Oscars In Memoriam song Sara Bareilles sang will seriously give you chills. It's hard enough to get through the segment without shedding tears, but when you have Bareilles singing a cover of "Both Sides Now"? Yeah, it's almost impossible to do.

If you've never heard the song, it is from Joni Mitchell. For those who are fans of Love Actually, then you most certainly know the song, which plays during the scene where Emma Thompson's character discovers that her husband (played by the late Alan Rickman) is most likely having an affair.

It is one of those songs that can move you to tears with just the first few notes and words. That's what happened when Bareilles took the stage. Seriously, if you didn't get chills listening to her sing, then maybe you need to listen to it again. Yeah, it's that amazing. Even Zachary Levi agrees with me as he tweeted Sunday, "One of the greatest vocal performances I have ever seen live. Wow. #OscarsSoBareilles @SaraBareilles."

Thank you, Sara, for a stunning and emotional tribute.

Now, break out those tissues and get ready to cry during her cover of "Both Sides Now."
