Airbnb's Super Bowl Ad May Take Aim At Trump

It didn't take very long into this year's Super Bowl to find that many companies were choosing to make political statements with their advertisements. One that seemingly did just that is Airbnb's Super Bowl commercial titled "We Accept." The ad features a wide variety of people and is all about the company being accepting of all walks of life.

Set only to quiet background music, the ad shows the following message over photos of a diverse group of people's faces:

"We believe no matter who you are, where you're from, who you love, or who you worship, we all belong. The world is more beautiful the more you accept. #weaccept."

It's undeniably a striking commercial with the close-ups of various faces and the simple message. But it's also one that, considering the current political climate, seems like it could be a pointed message at Donald Trump's immigrant and refugee order. The company could be saying, in a country that doesn't seem exactly accepting, they are still open to welcoming all kinds of people with their rental network.

Even if Airbnb's commercial isn't directly about Trump, it's definitely about the diversity of the U.S. and acceptance, and that's a powerful statement either way.

Check out the ad for yourself above, and see what you think.
