Friday morning, just before 2 a.m., Republicans in the Senate failed to pass the "skinny repeal" bill that would begin the process of repealing and replacing Obamacare. The vote was the latest in a series of missteps by the Trump administration this week. So many, in fact, that Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski declared it "Failure Friday" for President Trump. It wasn't long before the collective hive mind of Twitter took the idea and ran with it, enumerating the administration's various gaffes and garbage fires with the hashtag #FailureFriday.

If you want to know what failure looks like, Brzezinski said during her morning broadcast, “just take a look at the last 36 hours of the Trump presidency.” In addition to the failed "skinny repeal" bill, Brzezinski cited the president's failed attempts to "bully the attorney general into resigning — Jeff Sessions vowing to stay on as long as Trump sees that as appropriate," and his failure to "change the conversation" surrounding the confusing, poorly planned announcement of his transgender military ban.

“And the president even managed to fail with his address to the Boy Scouts of America,” Brzezinski added, referring to the head of BSA apologizing for the president's speech on Monday night.

“A lot of failures on this Failure Friday,” she concluded.

Twitter used #FailureFriday to blast not only Trump's most recent failures, but all of his administration's lush, varied disasters, as well as the president's previous claim that he was tired of "all the winning," and the fact that Senator John McCain is getting overwhelming credit for killing the "skinny repeal" bill, even though two women, Senators Collins and Murkowski had opposed it from the start. Fails all around!
