Bustle's Editors On Earth Day + Katy Perry

by Melissa Mills

Happy Friday! It's been a week, huh? Between the Girls series finale on April 23, the release of Starbucks' magical Unicorn Frappuccino, tax day, and the announcement that Bill O'Reilly is out at Fox News, there's just been so much to talk about. And today was no different! So, before you head out for a couple days of R&R, here's what Bustle's editors were talking about today, April 21:

Indiana University + Athletes

Indiana University announced that it will not accept any student athletes with a record of sexual or domestic violence. This move comes at a time when sexual assault on campus (and even allegations of sexual assault on TV) is almost regularly in the news. Hopefully, more schools will follow suit so female students everywhere can feel safe.

Quote of the Day: "No matter how much I accomplish during the ridiculous standard of the first 100 days, & it has been a lot (including S.C.), media will kill!" — Donald Trump's tweet on the "ridiculous standard" of what a president should accomplish in their first 100 days, even though he campaigned pretty hard about what he'd do during that time before the election. Sigh.

Katy Perry + Guy Fieri

Katy Perry's the queen of hair change-ups, but her latest ~look~ will literally make you LOL. Perry took to Instagram on April 20, aka "National Look Alike Day" (who knew that was even a thing?!), to celebrate with a photo of her transformation into a very unexpected celebrity doppelganger: Food Network star Guy Fieri. Only thing missing? The goatee and, I don't know, a '50s-style bowling shirt covered in flames.

Speaking of Food: Kick off the weekend and Earth Day with these 12 easy, delicious — meat-free! — recipes.

Full Body Mask + O.M.G.

Vlogger Nicole Skyes used a peel-off blackhead mask all over her body & it’s SO painful to watch. These mask videos are taking the internet by storm, but this one might take the cake as Most. Painful. Ever. (Just wait until Skyes gets to her stomach...) See for yourself:

In Other Viral News: Love the Starbucks Unicorn Frapp? Now you can show off your technicolor obsession with a matching makeup look.

Earth Day + March For Science

Tomorrow, April 22, is Earth Day, and it's more important now than ever. With members of the current administration (and even the head of the EPA himself) putting climate change on the back burner, water crises happening around the globe, and animal extinction rates going up, now's the time for action. So, yes, you can recycle and plant trees, but Earth Day is about so much more in 2017. That's why people around the world are participating in the March for Science to have their voices heard and fight for the environment. Here's how to find a March for Science protest near you.

Psst... Here are 13 last-minute sign ideas if you're planning to go to the March for Science tomorrow.

What to Watch: Weekends were made for Netflix, right? Lucky for us, we've got two great new series to dive into: Bill Nye Saves the World and Girlboss, both streaming today. Take your pick!
