It was announced Wednesday afternoon that Cecile Richards is reportedly leaving Planned Parenthood after more than ten years as the organization's president. Planned Parenthood told BuzzFeed that: "Cecile plans to discuss 2018 and the next steps for Planned Parenthood’s future at the upcoming board meeting." No word yet on whether Richards will be leaving entirely, move into a new role, or who would become president next, but Richards' reported departure would be a huge shake-up.

Larry Nassar + Trial

Today former USA Gymnastics team physician Larry Nassar was sentenced to up to 175 years in prison on charges of sexual assault. Judge Rosemarie Aquilina, who read the sentence, told Nassar, "I just signed your death warrant." But, by far, this is the one moment from the trial that everyone's talking about.
