by Rachel Simon

Hillary Clinton + Burns Strider

A new report claims that Burns Strider, one of Hillary Clinton's senior advisors during her 2008 run, sexually harassed a female staffer — and Clinton decided to keep him on staff despite her campaign manager advising her against the idea. Naturally, many people are troubled by the report, which comes at a time when sexual harassment and assault are in the spotlight more than ever.

FYI: Cecile Richards is leaving Planned Parenthood, and while it's sad news, her reasons why are incredibly inspiring.

Trump + Robert Mueller

The New York Times reported on Thursday night that Trump allegedly tried to fire Robert Mueller in June, but was stopped when White House Council Don McGahn threatened to resign if that action was taken. Trump denied the report, calling it "fake news," but several sources told the Times of the alleged occurrence.

LOL: Viola Davis' reaction to learning that How To Get Away With Murder is Melania Trump's favorite show is too good.

Game Of Thrones + Season 8

By now, you've probably heard that Game of Thrones Season 8 won't premiere until 2019, and have experienced the requisite heartbreak that comes along with realizing how long a wait that means. Well, here's some good(ish) news — Maisie Williams has just confirmed that the new GoT season will premiere in April of that year. Mark your calendars!

OMG: You have to see what Ariana Grande looks like without her ponytail.

Tide Pods + That Viral Challenge

Newsflash: eating Tide Pods is very dangerous and a seriously bad idea. But that hasn't stopped some teens from doing it as part of the "Tide Pod Challenge," and the instances have caused a media frenzy. Now, people have created edible Tide Pod-inspired recipes, in the hopes of encouraging some others from eating the actual, unsafe items. Hey, whatever works.
