I was kind of hoping the cast of Game Of Thrones would show up and take over the Golden Globes. But since they were the tiniest bit snubbed this year, I guess it made more sense for them to trickle in one by one.
And hey, that's perfectly fine. Because that meant we got to take in their dazzling looks one at a time. Take Sophie Turner, for example. The actress looked great in an uber modern dress, which had just about everything going on. There was a slit up the front, lace, mesh, shoulder pads, geometry — the whole thing. Oh, and makeup that was totally on point.
Next to trickle in was Maisie Williams, who also looked perfectly presentable — and adorable. She rocked an updo, pretty yellow dress, and a train. It was all very "prom," in a totally good way.
We also got to see Gwendoline Christie, who looked classy AF in a nude dress and even nuder (is that a word?) makeup. In case you didn't catch the carpet, take a look at what I mean.
This dress may be all over the place, but I kind of loved it.
Those were some seriously good eyes. Kudos to her makeup artist.
So prom, but so cute.
