The competition for Best Drama TV Series at this year's Golden Globes is stiff, but seeing the star-studded cast of Westworld at the 2017 Golden Globes was something I'd been looking forward to since I saw that HBO's latest drama series had been nominated in the category.

HBO's futuristic Wild West-themed drama series has been getting rave reviews since its debut last fall, and fans are eagerly awaiting the show's second season, which will premiere in 2018. In addition to the show's nod for best drama, Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton picked up nominations for Best Actress in a TV Series — Drama and Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film, respectively.

With that many nominations for such a new show, I knew the Westworld cast members were bound to show up on the red carpet with their best feet forward. Sure enough, many of the major players in the show's cast made an appearance. From Evan Rachel Wood's chic black Altuzarra tuxedo to Thandie Newton's off-the-shoulder white sheath with fiery orange sequins, the looks were dramatic but different. Show producer J.J. Abrams was also one of the first people from the crew to show up on the red carpet, but the actors stole the show in terms of outfits.

Although Abrams is technically a Westworld producer and not a cast member, his classic black tux and signature horned rimmed glasses made an appearance on the carpet.
