Listen, I like horses as much as the next Average Joe. But you know what I love with all of my heart? A good celebrity sighting. So naturally, I've spent the first Saturday in May scouring social media for the craziest 2017 Kentucky Derby celebrity appearances. That's right. I've devoted a whole day to this goodness and, friends, I am about to provide a good bounty for you to feast your eyes upon. Are you ready for this?

So, first things first: It's admittedly a mixed bag when it comes to celebrities at the Kentucky Derby. Undoubtedly all of them are stars and famous faces, but this unique sporting event attract all sorts of celebrities. You get your athletes, your news and talk show personalities, reality TV stars, and yes, even the occasional actor. It's truly an exciting time to be an avid celebrity watcher.

Perhaps the most endearing celebrity appearance at the 2017 Kentucky Derby this year was Tracy Morgan's. The 30 Rock actor brought along his wife to the Churchill Downs because, according to the actor, he wanted to cross this off his bucket list following his recovery from his severe car accident.
