This New 'Jurassic World' Trailer Has All The Chris Pratt & Dinosaurs You Could Want

If you've been a Jurassic Park fan ever since the first movie came out in the '90s, then you're going to love this. On Thursday, the official Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer was released, and it's filled with equal parts drama, dinosaurs, and Chris Pratt. Really, what more could fans want? Based on the initial reactions on social media, plenty of fans are already pleased at this first look at the movie, which includes Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reviving their 2015 roles as Owen and Claire, respectively.

Sure, there are a few sweet moments of Pratt bonding with a dinosaur, but besides that, the prehistoric creatures look downright terrifying in several scenes in the two-and-a-half minute clip. It's clearly not going to be a casual stroll in the park. But honestly, that's to be expected with these sorts of movies. And if you've seen any of the previous Jurassic films, it's a no-brainer. As Pratt says in the trailer, they're on a "rescue opp to save the dinosaurs from an island that's about to explode." He jokingly asks, "What could go wrong?" Oh, so many things.

The movie is slated for a June 22, 2018 release, so you still have plenty of waiting time to go. But that doesn't mean you can't hit replay on the trailer a dozen times before then and begin speculating about how exactly it all plays out. Or, you know, you could just admire Pratt and the dinosaurs. They look especially realistic in the new trailer, even if a few of them seem to be on the attack.

So, what does the internet think? Sure, there are questions that arose, but there are also lots of people who are excited from this first glimpse.

Some Shed Tears

The caps lock truly speaks for itself.

Others Had Physical Reactions

But don't worry, it was out of excitement.

Seriously, People Love Writing In All Caps

They're just that passionate about this sneak peek.

Others Were Brutally Honest

In a strangely complimentary way, though.

This Person Pointed Out All The Reasons To Be Excited

In today's society, movies do offer a solid escape. Go ahead and rent an entire theater if you need to, especially since so many films are on the way. Don't worry, no one will judge.

Another Used A Perfect GIF

Count this person in the "excited" category.

Wait, No, This Is The Perfect GIF

A Chris Pratt GIF to express your appreciation for Chris Pratt in Jurassic World. Well-played.

Some Complimented Pratt's Performance Directly

This person tweeted right at him and called the trailer "so beautiful."

This Is A Very Valid Point

If they just thought ahead, this whole scenario could have been avoided. Then again, it's clearly a work of fiction. And if that didn't happen, there would be no movie. So...

People Were Freaking Out

Understandably so. But let's follow Michael Scott's frantic instructions here and stay calm, everybody.

There's Some Slight Confusion

An easy mix-up honestly. They're practically the same thing. And the fact that both trended shows just how excited people are, even if they don't know the proper name.

Even Pratt himself got in on the tweeting excitement — before the trailer even dropped. He participated in a Twitter Q&A, where when he was asked how life is going, he wrote, "Life is beautiful! It always 'finds a way'" and reminded everybody to catch the trailer. Oh, and he also answered this very important question:

Apparently raptors are Pratt's fave. But based on the trailer, it's same to assume he has a soft spot in his heart for them all. Now, is it 2018 yet?
