The Movies & Shows Leaving Netflix In July 2018 Include Some Marathon-Worthy Franchises

Netflix giveth, and Netflix taketh away. There are plenty of new titles hitting the streaming service next month — but with that news, there are also a lot of movies and TV shows leaving Netflix in July of 2018.
The titles that Netflix is removing from its streaming selection include movies across a number of genres, so it's worth checking if your favorite films are on the list. For instance, celebrated films like Breakfast at Tiffany's and Before Midnight won't survive the month. Some franchises are leaving Netflix entirely, too — there are five Bring It On movies, including the original Bring It On, and four Lethal Weapon movies that will all be leaving come July 1 (so prep your marathons now). And if you have children at home, some of their favorite titles might be leaving Netflix soon, too. Piglet's Big Movie and Rugrats Go Wild are both on the July 1 chopping block.
Fans with nostalgia for early 2000s rom-coms won't be happy with the news, either. Along Came Polly and A Cinderella Story, which were both released in 2004, are leaving Netflix on July 1 and July 30, respectively. And if those titles are among your go-to Netflix movies, it might be worth streaming them one last time before they disappear.

1. 'Alive'
This 1993 drama, inspired by a real-life tragedy in 1972, tells the story of a Uruguayan rugby team. After a plane crash, the plane's survivors resorted to cannibalism to stay alive. (July 1)
2. 'Along Came Polly'
The Ben Stiller-Jennifer Aniston rom-com won't be available to stream much longer, so get in that girls' night or date night while you can. (July 1)
3. 'An Honest Liar'
This biographical film focuses on magician James Randi. In addition to mastering his own craft, Randi has worked to expose fake psychics. (July 1)
4. 'Beerfest'
This is an Oktoberfest-themed bro comedy written by and starring the comedy group Broken Lizard. Look out for appearances from Donald Sutherland, Will Forte, and Mo'nique, too. (July 1)
5. 'Before Midnight'
The final film in Richard Linklater's trilogy, which started with Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, is a must-watch before it leaves Netflix. (July 1)
6. 'Bring It On'
The original Bring It On is leaving Netflix, as are Bring It On Again, Bring It On: All or Nothing, Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, and Bring It On: In It to Win It. If you've got a open weekend day later this month, this could be the perfect movie binge. (July 1)
7. 'Cocktail'
This 1988 movie isn't the most well-known of Tom Cruise's movies. But if you love the actor and late '80s films, it's worth watching it while you have the chance. (July 1)
8. 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close'
The adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer's novel deals with some heavy topics, including the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. The movie only has a 46% score on Rotten Tomatoes, but fans of the book might still want to watch it at least once. (July 1)
9. 'Lethal Weapon'
Lethal Weapon, Lethal Weapon 2, Lethal Weapon 3, and Lethal Weapon 4 are all leaving Netflix on July 1. At least the Lethal Weapon TV show is still on Fox? (July 1)
10. 'Little Women'
The 1994 adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel features a young Kirsten Dunst, Winona Rider, Claire Danes, and Trini Alvarado as the four March sisters. (July 1)
11. 'Michael Clayton'
Michael Clayton earned seven Oscar nominations, one of which Tilda Swinton won for best supporting actress. If you haven't watched the acclaimed film yet, it's worth seeing before it leaves Netflix. (July 1)
12. 'Midnight in Paris'
The Woody Allen movie stars Owen Wilson as Gil, a dissatisfied screenwriter and Rachel McAdams as his fiancé, on a vacation in Paris. Gil finds himself time-traveling to the 1920s during the trip. (July 1)
13. 'Mixed Signals'
The 1997 movie doesn't have a Rotten Tomatoes score, but if you love rom-coms, it might be worth checking out. (July 1)
14. 'More Than a Game'
The documentary about LeBron James and his classmates is a must-see for basketball fans. (July 1)
15. 'Pandemic'
This is a sci-fi movie featuring zombies in a post-apocalyptic world, if that's your type of film. (July 1)
16. 'Piglet's Big Movie'
I'll admit to crying hysterically while watching this movie — in high school. But fans of the Winnie the Pooh cartoons, especially young children, will love this one, so it's worth watching before it leaves Netflix. (July 1)
17. 'Rugrats Go Wild'
Kids who grew up on early '00s cartoons will remember this Rugrats/Wild Thornberrys crossover. It's worth rewatching for some serious nostalgia before it leaves the streaming service. (July 1)
18. 'Scary Movie'
The popular horror movie spoof won't be available to stream in July. (July 1)
19. 'Scream 3'
Scream 3 is leaving Netflix on July 1, but Scream 4 will hit Netflix on July 7, so at least there's a silver lining. (July 1)
20. 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines'
The Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring movie is leaving Netflix on July 1. (July 1)
21. 'The Art of War'
The Wesley Snipes movie didn't get great reviews from critics, but there are probably still plenty of action-film fans who won't be happy it's leaving Netflix. (July 1)
22. 'Tropic Thunder'
The Ben Stiller-directed movie earned praise from critics and fans. If you want a good laugh, this might be a good one to stream on your next movie night. (July 1)
23. 'V for Vendetta'
The classic movie is, sadly, leaving Netflix on July 1, which means it likely won't be available to stream come Guy Fawkes Day in November. (July 1)
24. 'Breakfast At Tiffany's'
Bad news for Audrey Hepburn fans: Breakfast at Tiffany's is leaving Netflix on July 2. (July 2)
25. 'Alpha & Omega: Journey to Bear Kingdom'
The 2010 children's movie, featuring the voices of Justin Long and Hayden Panettiere, is leaving Netflix next month. (July 8)
26. 'Real Husbands of Hollywood': Seasons 1-5
The Kevin Hart-starring reality show spoof is leaving Netflix soon. So if you're a Hart fan, a marathon viewing might be in order. (July 8)
27. 'Ratchet and Clank'
Bella Thorne is a voice actor in this animated movie, based on the Ratchet and Clank video game. (July 9)
