The Next Urban Decay Naked Palette Is All About Contouring

by Kali Borovic

Forget everything you know about the beloved Urban Decay Naked series, because it's getting a major upgrade. According to the brand's social media post, Urban Decay's new Naked Skin Shapeshifter Palette has highlight, contour, and color-corrector all in one place. This looks like a face set unlike any other, so it's time to get excited.

When it come to Urban Decay, it's like everything that's named "Naked" turns to product gold. They already have five eyeshadow palettes, concealers, color correctors, and even blush palettes by the same name, but they have never launched anything like this. According to the Instagram announcement, the Naked Skin Shapeshifter Palette is a two-tiered face palette. The bottom row has five cream products and the top row has five powder products. Oh, and it comes in two different shades. What more could you ask for?

The Instagram image also shows a double-sided highlight and contour brush. Although it's unclear if it comes with the palette or will be sold separately, it's still pretty darn exciting. There doesn't seem to be a spot for the brush to lay in the palette, since it's huge, so I'm willing to bet that means that it will come separately.

Unfortunately, no other details have yet to be released. The price and release date have all been kept a secret, but Bustle has reached out to Urban Decay for more information.

Until then, there are plenty other new Urban Decay launches for you to shop. The brand just launched their Lip Toppers and Makeup Remover Dissolving Spray. They've also created their very own lip kits. If nothing else, you can gawk over the gorgeous picture as you save up for the face palette.

Bottom line: The Urban Decay Naked Skin Shapeshifter is a product to keep on your radar. I'm willing to bet that this will go down in history as another cult-classic item.
