With Guam and even Hawaii preparing their citizens for a nuclear attack, you might be wondering what you should do in case on a nuclear blast. Well, it doesn't involve conditioning your hair. According to Ready.gov, you should not condition your hair after a nuclear blast, especially if you've been outside during the explosion. Go ahead and shampoo your hair with soap or your normal go-to product, but the conditioner will lock in all the stuff that you're trying to get out.

"Wash your hair with shampoo or soap and water," the website reads. "Do not use conditioner in your hair because it will bind radioactive material to your hair, keeping it from rinsing out easily."

While you're at it, the site recommends jumping in the shower as soon after a nuclear blast as possible. Although the don't mention it directly, you should still wash your hair with shampoo a few times as well. The tip is for everyone — no matter what hair type you have. Because you don't need to look great at the end of the world. You just need to keep yourself safe.
