The Royal Bra-Fitter Was Fired For A Tell-All Book Mentioning A Half-Naked Queen In Front Of Corgis

Just because you watch The Crown doesn't mean that you know everything about the Royal Family. It turns out that along with only being able to wear neutral nail polish, they also have, er, had their own royal bra-fitter. According the BBC, Queen Elizabeth has fired the royal bra company Rigby & Peller after the founder wrote about her and the Royal Family in a "tell-all" book.

The decision to cut ties comes almost a year after the official "corsetiere" to the Queen published the book Storm In A D Cup. According to Daily Beast, the book mentions "decades of secrets" including the “shabby basement entrance” of Buckingham Palace and royal family members that she used to fit. June Kenton's high-profile list includes Princess Diana, Princess Margaret, the Queen Mother, and the Queen herself.

Apparently, all is fun and games until you tell people about the Queen being half-naked in front of her corgis. Yes, that's in the book.

“I’m very sad Buckingham Palace took exception to the story — it’s a kind and gentle story about what went on in my life,” she said. “I only ever said I went there, not what happened. I have never, ever spoken about what I do there with her, or the Queen Mother or Princess Margaret.”

According to the BBC, Kenton did not submit a copy to the Royal Palace before publishing the book, because she "didn't think anything would be required." Although the publication also states that the Royal Palace told her six months ago that they "didn't like the book," and thus the brand's contract has been pulled.

You can purchase the book, Storm In A D Cup, on Amazon for $23.82. The description mentions nothing about the Royal Palace or Kenton's time there. It simply states that the book is, "June Kenton's Autobiography covering the transformation of London's Rigby & Peller, one of the worlds leading lingerie brands." Although Kenton believes that there's nothing royally wrong about the book, something tells me that it's about to fly off the virtual shelves.

There is no update on who the next royal bra-fitter will be. I'm not exactly sure how instrumental a bra-fitter is to the Royal Palace, but you should probably get your resume ready.

The Royal Palace has not made an official statement about the book at this time. Beside, you know, firing Rigby & Peller.
