Fans of a certain Amazonian warrior should be jumping for joy right about now. The Wonder Woman sequel is officially happening, as confirmed by Warner Bros. at their panel at Comic-Con in San Diego. During a sneak peak of their upcoming superhero lineup, Wonder Woman 2 was among those listed. Other films that were rumored, and now confirmed, include Batgirl and Justice League Dark. But when the Justice League (Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher) took the stage in Hall H in San Diego's Comic-Con convention, Gadot got perhaps the biggest round of applause. After all, Wonder Woman slayed the summer box office, and from her knock-out performance alone, a sequel seemed inevitable. And now, it is finally confirmed. Gadot appeared on the WB panel, alongside fellow Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher

Here's what we know about the sequel so far: DC Films co-chairman Geoff Johns is working on the script with the help of input from the first film's director, Patty Jenkins. At this point it's still unknown if Jenkins will be back to direct the sequel, but could you imagine anyone else taking over? After the film's $767.7 million worldwide success, it seems like a terrible move to hand over the reigns to anyone else. Gal Gadot will of course be back as Wonder Woman, but other cast members have yet to be confirmed.

Though we may have to wait a while to see Wonder Woman back in action in her own film, fans can see Diana Prince lassoing the bad guys along side Cyborg, Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, and others when Justice League hits theaters November 17.
