This Toddler’s Fenty Beauty Review Is Rihanna’s Favorite One Yet

by Melanie Richtman

When Rihanna released her highly anticipated makeup line Fenty Beauty, it became an instant hit among makeup enthusiasts, thanks to its inclusive range of foundation shades, top notch formulas, and fun colors. Almost immediately, makeup tutorials started hitting the internet, but Rihanna's favorite Fenty Beauty tutorial is probably the cutest one yet.

On Monday, Rihanna shared a clip from Samia's Life's YouTube on her Instagram. In the video, two-year-old Samia (who is the daughter of famous YouTuber LaToya Forever) reviews the Fenty Beauty foundation and highlighter in what is arguably the cutest makeup video of all time.

In the tutorial, Samia lists out the products she's using, including the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter "Trophy Wife," and then proceeds to apply the gold highlighter all over her face. Following this liberal highlighter application, she looks in the mirror, sees the shimmery powder covering her face, and says incredibly endearing things, like, "wow, I'm glowed up," and, "I look like a lightbulb!"

After she "glows up" with the gold highlighter, Samia applies a Fenty Beauty gloss to her lips, and then adds some foundation to her face before blending all of her makeup like a pro. It's safe to say she's a big fan of Fenty Beauty, and that she is incredibly lucky that her mother trusts her enough to play with her brand new Fenty Beauty makeup as a toddler.

Samia's video has received over 75,000 views on YouTube so far, and because Rihanna is the best, she shared a clip from Samia's video on her Instagram, where she admitted that it was her favorite review so far, saying, "check out the best review on @fentybeauty yet!!! thanks @samiaslife." Rihanna's Instagram video has since received millions of views and thousands of comments raving about, and encouraging the little makeup ingenue.

Samia has a few other YouTube videos involving makeup, like one where she gives her little brother a makeover, a classic big sister move. Skip to the 4:45 mark to see her attempt, which eventually just turns into Samia giving herself and her doll a makeover.

Clearly this young tot has a passion for makeup, just like her mom, as she also has a video where she challenges her much older cousin to a makeup challenge, in which Samia gets an A+ for cuteness, but a slightly lower grade for accuracy, but that just makes it cuter.

Samia isn't the only toddler Rihanna has a soft spot for. The singer/entrepreneur frequently shares videos and snaps of her adorable niece when they hang out, and only a few days after posting Samia's tutorial, Rihanna regrammed another adorable kid who was rapping along to Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow," (which is pretty impressive for someone who is still in a car seat), with the caption "me af."

So if you like beauty, Rihanna, or adorable kids doing adorable things, Rihanna's Instagram is probably worth keeping tabs on, but if you're looking for a real tutorial using products from Rihanna's Fenty Beauty line, look no further than a tutorial featuring the queen herself.

In the video called, "Fenty Face: The Secret To Rihanna's Killer Radiance," Rihanna and her makeup artist explain how to get the "Fenty Face," using the Fenty Beauty Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, Matchsticks Shimmer Skinsticks, and the Killwatt Freestyle Highlighter as seen in Samia's video.

In conclusion, although Rihanna's video is probably more informative and instructional, I'm sure everyone can agree that toddlers reviewing makeup lines should become a new trend, because who doesn't want to watch adorable toddlers doing adorable things? Maybe after seeing Samia's video, more parents will be inspired to let their kids play with their makeup. Fingers crossed.
