It was a moment no one saw coming. During the announcement of Best Picture at the 2017 Oscars, Faye Dunaway declared La La Land the winner. Then, before everyone knew it, Moonlight was deemed the right winner. That's right, there was a huge mistake and Moonlight actually won Best Picture. As you can imagine, there are all kinds of reactions to the flub, including the cast of Moonlight's reaction to winning.

This has to be one of the craziest moments in Oscar history and no one is more shocked than the cast of Moonlight. As it was repeated on stage multiple times, this is not a joke. That's something that the cast had to be convinced of at first. They looked to experience a ton of emotions. First, they were beyond shocked, which is totally understandable. Then, they, of course, were genuinely happy to be accepting the Oscar for Best Picture. Really, who wouldn't be?

As director and writer of Moonlight Barry Jenkins declared on stage, "Very clearly. Very clearly, even in my dreams this could not be true. But, to hell with dreams. I'm done with it, because this is true." Their facial expressions and Jenkins' words perfectly describe how the cast is most likely feeling at this moment.

Basically, the Moonlight cast is just as shocked as everyone else right now.
