Rob Kardashian & Blac Chyna's Relationship Is Very Chaotic

On July 5, 2017, the Kardashian brother put the mother of his daughter on blast on Instagram in a series of disturbing posts. But one of the biggest questions to come from these claims is whether or not Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian were back together in the first place, since the couple breaks up and reunites so often that it can be hard to keep track.

In the first of two unsettling posts, Kardashian published a photo of a note alleging that his ex had sent him a photo of her vagina saying he could “have it soon,” and then, on the same day, he “sent [his] jeweler to drop off 250K of jewelry.” If it is true, that could suggest the pair had gotten back together. His second post also contained a sheer level of emotion that could imply that the former couple had resumed seeing each other. After all, it seems unlikely that a person would throw around claims like “I told Chyna a million times even after seeing and knowing this that I will support and be there for her but I can’t take this anymore” and “I’m done with this woman thank God thank God” about a purely platonic relationship.

And that’s before we get started about the problematic accusations about “many of the men Chyna has been doing this with.” If the couple really were cleanly broken up, why would it be any of her ex’s business who she was sleeping with? Why would he be mad about it, especially since, according to People, Chyna and Kardashian split up in February 2017, months before the post?

But that isn’t all. The 30-year-old posted explicit photos that are reportedly of Chyna; the photos that appear to show the model and entrepreneur nude from the waist down. So if they were back together — and, let’s face it, that’s a very big, shaky if — we can at least assume that the pair are very much broken up now, given the invasive nature of these Instagram posts.

While it seems, at least based on what what has been posted by Kardashian, that he believed them to be back together, things get much murkier and more disturbing at Chyna’s end. She responded via Snapchat with a claim of her own; "Rob u did all this but u beat me up and try act it never happen !!!!! U put hand on me I swear on god !!!!! On my kids but I'm supposd [sic] to be quiet because you're a Kardashian." In a second Snapchat, she promised "The light will come to the light." (Bustle has reached out to reps for both about the domestic abuse allegations, but did not immediately receive a response..)

Still, other press over the past few months has hinted that the pair could have begun seeing each other again. Just Jared reported on April 1 that the pair had published two Snapchat videos, the first of which showed Kardashian kissing Chyna on the cheek and the second of which documented Chyna showing off a diamond ring. According to Just Jared, on April 19, the pair were photographed leaving the restaurant TAO in Los Angeles together, which some interpreted as a clue that Kardashian and Chyna had reunited. Similarly, on May 30, Kardashian posted a throwback photo of Chyna with the caption “On my first episode of Rob’s Random Cornball Thoughts is This young lady who grew up to be the woman I love and the mother of my child.”

As with any couple that regularly call things quits before reuniting, it’s hard to make any concrete statements about their official relationship status. But if we limit this story to how Kardashian sees it, it does appear as if he may have believed they were back together.
